• Reduced app launch time from ~2s → <0.6s (including pre-main and post-main) despite 10+ dynamically loaded frameworks, improving startup performance for an app serving ~80M monthly active users across 800+ cities.
• Improved OOM-free sessions from 88% → 95% while maintaining ~99.8% crash-free sessions, significantly improving reliability at scale.
• Built the Restaurant Page, one of the highest-traffic and revenue-driving surfaces in the Zomato app, during the flagship V14 redesign.
• Contributed to the Zomato V15 redesign, including the revamped ratings system that influences restaurant discovery and ordering decisions.
• Built an MQTT-based real-time pub-sub infrastructure powering live rider movement in the order tracking experience and other real-time product use cases.
• Improved rider maneuvering accuracy within the order tracking experience, strengthening delivery visibility for customers.
• Led the iOS Platform team, building foundational infrastructure used across the Zomato mobile ecosystem.
• Architected runtime localization infrastructure, enabling regional language support and dynamic string updates without requiring app releases.
• Re-architected core SDK architecture to improve modularity and scalability across multiple app modules.
• Designed an incremental build system enabling near-zero compilation time, improving developer productivity across the mobile team.
• Reduced Carthage dependency bootstrap time from ~30 minutes → <30 seconds, dramatically improving CI and local development workflows.
• Built internal mobile developer platforms:
  • Airport — Zomato's internal app distribution platform (TestFlight equivalent)
  • Metro — Zomato's internal application loader
• Helped refine and scale the engineering hiring process.
